Does anyone here play Guitar Hero? I mean, who doesn't play it? I wasn't originally into it, but my boyfriend used to play it every waking minute of the day, so I play it every now and then. I only play on medium and I'm not that great, but it's a lot of fun when I'm not cursing the game out.



So, if you play, what difficulty?

hellll yeah. my friend has it and she's kinda gotten me into it. i might just have to go buy it myself. what about rock band?

My boyfriend says Rock Band sucks. Personally, I think it's a ripoff of Guitar Hero only they added drums and vocals or whatever.

No. The guitar for Rock Band fucking sucks.

Game Informer says that the developers for Guitar Hero World Tour are considering putting Dream Theater in. In a later issue they confirmed that Rock Band 2 will have Panic Attack from Octavarium.

See? that's what I thought. I played rock band at this guys house and I couldn't get the hang of the guitar. It's a lil different isn't it? Oh well, I'll just stick with guitar hero.

i will have to agree on that one. i just started to exercise my guitar warranty for the second fucking time. not only is the controller too big, in my opinion, but on the two guitars i have had so far the strum bar has busted.



the game is much better than the equipment. i'm thinking about investing in one of the red octane controller converters for the PS3 so i can use my guitar hero controllers. they've been played to hell for almost 3 years and still work. my rockband controllers work for like 3-4 months and break.

I only play on easy. I wasn't meant to play these games.

The people that made guitar hero made rock band as well you know, and i have gh3 it rocks i play on medieum and my favourite song is through the fire and flames by dragon force

I like Guitar Hero and Rock Band equally. This is another one of those cases where I don't quite get the logic behind the fanboy wars between the two. /shrug

I play on medium fairly well up until the final sets in Guitar Hero 3. I've recently started playing earlier sets on hard.

I can't alternate strum. People always tell me to and I'm just like "Fuck you I can't do it". I don't know why. So I usually end up with a cramp in my wrist from mashing the strum bar whenever I have to hit the same note five times a second.
