Full Version: The Ship

After managing to get a better video card (OK, it's a GeForce 8400 GS - not that amazing, but better than the integrated poop I had before), I have picked up playing this little gem again: The Ship.
Though it did hit pretty big upon hitting stores in Europe, it never really became popular in America. The main premise of the game is that you find yourself on a ship ran by none other than the masked Mr. X. He wants you to kill another passenger with the various potential weapons on the ship for jollies. In return, he will pay you money depending on the originality of the weapon you choose to use. As you're doing this, you must bear in mind that another player is trying to kill you, and you must maintain your Sims-like "needs" by using the various amenities on the ship. Failure to do this will result in your crumbling into dust.

There are five other game modes to play from, and all the ships have some form of secret or another that gives long-time players an advantage over the newcomers.

So, I guess the question I will pose to you guys on this community would be:
Anyone here heard of The Ship?

I'm just wondering who buys a 8400 GS?

I have heard of "The Ship" and I have watched some of its gameplay, I even considered picking it up for kicks and giggles, but I guess I never got to it.

People who make a trip to a larger city and arrive at Circuit City, get a surprise "Mom wants to buy you a video card" notice, purchase the overly priced but still under $100 model they had, and THEN have the opportunity to further research the graphics cards.

I'm still pissed off about my purchase.
