Does anyone know where I can get a Wii game system because it seems to be sold out everywhere? I want to get one for my brother, but I don't know where to go to get one now. If you know a place please let me know thanks.

I had no trouble getting one on release date. Surely they aren't still low supply?

They are extremely rare right now in the east (they have been all-along actually). Apparently, the west coast has had ridiculous amounts while people were killing each other for one in the east. If you know someone that lives in say, California, they could probably get you one. Other than that, there's virtually no hope. Both of my local Best Buys are fresh out of them and have been for weeks. Same with Guitar Hero III for the 360 (plenty of PS2 version).

You have to give him a little voucher for 1 free Wii in his stocking saying that you'll get it for him in say, Feb/March?

My Wii has disappointed me though. There are many more interesting games on 360.

My girlfriend's brother owned the Wii, I played it. It sucks hard compared to Xbox 360 and PS3. Which is probably why he sold it and bought a Xbox 360.

It is a wonderful game console. It has totally revolutionized the gaming industry. Nintendo won big time with the Wii.

I love ours. It's so fun. But that's probably because i hate just sitting there when you play a game. Plus all the games are really cute with little Mario characters and all.

lol. There's a reason that nintendo has sold more wii's than 360's or PS3's. Its sooo much different. I have a wii and a 360... (and a ps2, but that's fallen by the wayside) and i like them both for different reasons. I basically got the Wii for when super smash bros. comes out in february, and soul caliber, and got the 360 for everything else. true the wii doesnt have groundbreaking graphics, but that obviously wasnt nintendo's focus.
... oh and christine, im in the west and i still had to get up at 4 in the morning to get mine. have fun

the wii is a pretty fun system. i personally don't have one, but a couple of my friends do.

in terms of finding one, you might just have to wait until the holiday rush is over. maybe online?

The G4 FEED is reporting that GameStop has promised that the Wii will be shipping NEXT MONTH to everyone who ordered before Dec 20/21.
