I bought it yesterday and have had only a few hours to play it, but so far it seems amazing.

I think I'm going to start over as a Soldier, though. Vanguards don't seem like a very ruthless class.

Any opinions on the game? No spoilers please.

I'm playing as an infiltrator.

Good game so far, little bit over whelming with the amount of planets you can explore.

Couple of flaws:

Side quests can get annoying. I go do a side quest, travel to that system to get paged by some dude to do another side quest, I go to that planet and get paged again to do another side quest in another system. I finish the side quest I'm on on now then get paged to do another side quest. I go to the destination of that side quest and get paged yet again to do MORE side quests.

Lack of variety in weapons. It's just Xitemname I, II, III, IV, V, etc.

Elevator scenes are extremely annoying. I have no idea what bioware was smoking when they put in this feature. It should at least be skippable.

Lack of variety in the environment of planets. Like the research bases or mines. They're all the same exact layout, just different items.


I wish this game had a little bit more skill customization to the characters, but that is just me.

Very little things prevent this game from becoming a 10/10.

I'm getting it for Christmas, as well as a lot of other games.

Let's just hope my launch 360 doesn't suddenly die on me...I'm like the only one I know with a launch 360 that still works.

but anyway, mass effect is amazing, best RPG of the year on any console. I beat the game both doing Paragon and Renegade. I was a soldier first then a biotic. If you haven't picked it up yet do so, you wont be disappointed.

Meh, it's okay, but it didn't hold my interest for that long and I moved on to my other games I got for Christmas. WRPGs are really hit or miss to me, I LOVE Oblivion and WoW (really not a traditional RPG), but most other western RPGs I can't stand.

I got Oblivion for Christmad, love it.

I wish this game wasn't Xbox only. My dad got me a PS3 for Christmas

Haha the PS3 isn't that bad.

Free online play. Controllers can be recharged with a USB cable and you can play while they're charging. Also it has blu-ray and I got 5 free blu-ray movies.

$50 a year = Serious Business guys.



So can 360 controllers with the play and charge kit...and the controllers also have vibration, a feature standard for what...a decade now?



Meh, neither Blu-Ray nor HD-DVD have caught on in the market yet. I predict the war to be a stalemate and both formats to be failures unless the industry compromises.

Fine make me feel worse about owning a system I already don't want

My friend got PS3 for Christmas as well with Rock Band which is amazing. But overall I love my 360 and wouldn't trade it for anything.

lulz, well my launch 360 finally gave out. Just got the red rings of death. I thought it would never happen to me. I guess I was lucky it lasted as long as it did. I'm thinking about trying the towel trick, but hell, it would probably be better to just send it out to MS.

I haven't heard anything about them breaking randomly, so I'm pretty sure they fixed the bugs in it.

I'm sure some of them do, but it's a much lower failure rate.

ahah i loved this game, i really got into the whole story. i played as a soldier since i like to go in guns blasting. i would always bring good biotic and tech characters along with me to make a balanced group. i ended the game with a more-paragon rating and i had sex with the soldier chick. i would defenitly play it again.
