I just pulled out NetHack – my old PC favorite that I re-play every few years, trying to win and never succeeding. They just don’t make games like that anymore – games where one wrong choice or move can cost you winning the whole thing, and ya just have to play them all over again. Masochistic – kinda, but it requires some serious strategy. Anyone tried the
Fire Emblem series? Heard that was tough: makes me wish I had a Wii. Other hard games?

I have a Wii. :3 I hate hard games, though I hate easy games also... >-> I have Jak 3 and found it hard, I found KHII easy, Xenosaga III easy, unfortunately... >->, and Valkirie Profile 2: Silmeria required level grinding... >->

Ninja Gaiden is extremely hard. Even the "easy" mode in Black is hard.

Police Quest, that was a tough one, anyone remember that? I just found out my new roommate has a Wii. So I'll be able to play the new Fire Emblem. Excellent. And the new Sims game... *sheepish envy*. Not moving until November, tho.

I agree with the Ninja Gaiden thing.
I think I developed an ulcer just trying to get past the first boss.

Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant (made in DOS times) was a toughie that I still haven't finished. Very nonlinear RPG.
