What is Nintendo doing? they've just announced at some of their Gammer's Days festivals that they are now targeting the VERY conservitive gammer . no more new metroid, no star fox, no NiGHTS, no fire emblem. Reggie Fills-Ami said that "games like Nintendogs would pave the way for generations of Wii gamers to come" I just cant see how this is a good buisness decission. Their new target audence will not keep intrest in it; it might fade away as a trend at best. some conservative titles are great and cater to all gammers but writing off as a mere toy? i guess that they're just riding on the sucess of the DS, but man, what a let down. I was going to track one down but now...

Times are changing...they need to start focusing elsewhere to expand the market for the future.

It's not like they aren't halting production of gamers' favorite titles...it's just that they're not giving it as much attention on the promotional side of things. Don't worry...it's not like you already don't know everything about those games anyway.
