I was inspired to reinstall Starcraft yesterday.
Didn't, but the thought was there.

Great. Now I might end up in another one of those phases where half my free time is eaten up by a computer game.

As long as you still do other things as well you'll live.

It's good for me, because a large proportion of people here in Australia will be taking the final exams during the time which the game is released, and since I (should be able to) control my urges to play games, hopefully people will fall under the spell of Starcraft 2 and fail their exams, hence making my mark rise! A sardonic outlook, but an essential one nonetheless.

But to be honest, I used to be quite an avid gamer, and even I don't fucking understand how you keep track of things on screen when you play Starcraft.
I guess it's one of those things you have to get used to.

The first time I played it, it was kinda confusing. I still get caught by an occasional "WTF? Where the hell did
that come from!?" moment, but for the most part I'm on top of things.

I was disappointed it wasn't Diablo 3.

Some people were hoping for a Starcraft MMO.

I'd be interested in that, but I don't see how they'd be able to make it work.

I wouldn't be, I think it'd be to much like WoW

Anyway, I bet South Korea is going insane about this. It's like their national sport. They even have professional Starcraft players that are televised, much as we have professional Poker players.

That's what my dad and I were talking about when we heard the rumors. I mean, the idea of classes would have to go completely out the window, and that's integral to every MMO I've seen.

A Starcraft MMO wouldn't work.
