I picked up Guitar Hero 2 for my 360 with the Red Octane guitar controller with some birthday money this past month. Anyone else have this game, cuz i know im addicted to it. If anyone has it id like to know how far you are and some of your high scores on some songs. Maybe we can have some competition or something. Im stuck on the hard difficulty setting however, the last set list, hanger 18 and institutionalized are kickin my ass.

Don't have a 360, but the ps2 version is essentially the same, minus a few bonus songs. I've beat every song on expert except Jordan (DAMN YOU BUCKETHEAD!!). I recently suffered a corrupt memory card and lost all of my game data and am in the process of rebeating all of those songs. Through the first 20 songs on expert I have 5 starred all 20, streak will end soon though, songs start to get dumb after the 4th set.

Don't know if you need advice or anything (I don't really consider myself a pro or anything) but just some simple helpful hints. If you aren't already, make sure you strum up AND down. I used down strokes all the way through GH1 and it really just won't cut it in GH2. Also make sure to work on hammer ons/pull offs, as they are very useful come expert mode.
