i took a 5 mnth break, i just reinstalled tonight with BC

Used to play it, then my sister ran out on $$ on her debit card. -___- Then I happened to buy Final Fantasy XI Online, which is cheaper monthly, so I save up my lunch money and... well, let's just say I play FFXI now. I miss WoW though, 'twas so fun... *sniff* The music rocked, too!

WoW - Addictive as watered down coffee

Sorry, but FFXI sucks. And it's only $2 cheaper a month but you have to pay for each additional character you have.

Yep. Every character beyond your main one costs an additional $1 a month. One difference in FFXI though is that you can change your class whenever you want in game. It's still stupid, though. I played FFXI for a few months, and after playing WoW I never went back.

And my Human Warlock is almost level 44. Yeah, I'm progressing rather fast...

WoW sucks, all MMOs out right now suck.

They're all focused around spending hours and hours of your time doing mind-numbingly boring grinds just to stay competitive.

And really, that's the only way MMOs will ever be because that's how they keep players playing month after month after month.

Both sides have their fair share of immature people and idiots. All I know is that the level ?? Tauren Hunter that kept ganking me earlier was far from mature.

Having played both sides, I have to dissagree. My theory is that younger players find playing the 'pretty' races more enjoyable.

I'm thinking about buying Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. It looks pretty cool.
What I really want to buy is Pirates of the Burning Sea, however, but Vanguard looks like it has the potential to keep me busy until PotBS is released.

On the contrary, little kids might also be the type to pick the "evil" looking race because they think it's cool.

It doesn't really take that long to get to 50. Seriously, it can be done extremely fast if you know the game well. I just got to 50 today.

How often do you play? I usually play less than 12 hours a week, and that's spread across different characters.

I'll be honest, I play it much more than that. Recently, during my spring break, I've been gaining a level a day. I'm guessing 6-10 hours per day, but only because I'm on my spring break and don't have anything else to do. During school, I can't play for that long.

I can get any character up to level 10 in one day, and I can usually get to level 20 over the next two, but after that, it takes exponentially longer for me. Luckily my characters are rested most of the time.

Well since my account got hacked, i started over and only play one server and pretty much two characters...My 50 priest and when i have nothing to do on that, my 22 hunter (which is mostly played just long enough to use up rest)...I have a few more under level 10 that I dont play much...
Oh and i made my priest when the expansion came out, so ive been playing it since January.

Brute force hacking is extremely rare in WoW. I read an interview of one of the people they have investigate claims, and he said that out of all the 'hacking' complaints he's had to investigate over the years (and that's a lot), only once did he find an account to have been hacked. The rest were just cases of shared account information.

But if you download shitty mods they sometimes have keyloggers (i didnt have any mods) but my boyfriends cousin got hacked, and he had been logging into my bfs account and he got hacked like 3 days later. Got all his stuff back though...I didnt get any of mine...so mad lol.

I'm 52 now. I'm installing BC now, and getting ready for Outland at 58. So exciting!

I set goals for each of my characters, but I have trouble once I meet them. Once my hunter reached 40 I slowed down a lot, and stop at 42. Now that my druid is level 30, I've lost interest in leveling again.
I hate the odd levels. No fancy new skills.

My guild kicks ass haha...Me and my bf made it about a week after the expansion came out and we're one of the biggest on the server. 200+ people and usually around 15-25 online.

I uninstalled it after the first month...a day after I payed for the second month's subscription >< I'm not a troll, but I personally prefer Guild Wars. WoW was just a bit too cartoonish for me lol. I was addicted for the first few days though I'll stick to being a GW veteran lol

I've got a level 42 Tauren hunter, a level 32 Tauren druid, and some other lower levels.

I've also got, like, a social life and shit, you know? I mean, I know I shouldn't spend as much time as I do on stupid things like hanging out with friends, especially when there's productive things to do like play WoW, but having a real life is just so addictive, it's like I can't help it.

Yeah, I like to go out and smoke pot with my friends, and get really high! Then I like to go in the bathroom and tag the walls with markers and spray paint! After that, maybe I'll bang that hot bitch in my math class. I have a real life! I just can't help it.

Its been almost a week since Ive played. I think I'll go do that now for awhile....since i now have over a level of rest...

My friend had me try WoW, but it just didn't appeal to me.

I haven't smoked weed in about half a year, and I won't be smoking it again for up to a year, due to probation.
